Came up as an international call on my phone display. Woman sounded of Thai or other far east origin. Said i was entitled to a free boiler replacement. Second call in two days. The one yesterday was from the same number, but it was an Afro-sounding man with the same free boiler patter. When asked where he got my number, said it was from the 'home owners register'.

Taped message, claimed to be from HMRC, saying that there is a warrant out for my arrest, quoting a reference number.
They gave their phone number as 02032393212, saying I should not ignore this message and to call the number. I called my local police and asked them about the supposed arrest warrant. They said do not respond or part with any information (I hadn't and wouldn't), and that it is a scam which is known to 'Action Fraud' and that they are looking into it. Do not respond to it.
