Number and National Grid on caller ID. Caller identified as being with National Grid and started to tell me how I could get a residential solar system without any money out of pocket. First, National Grid doesn't sell solar systems. They are a UK power provider with a US division headquartered in New York. Second, they do only business in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York. . My cell phone has a South Florida area code but I live in Texas now. I told them I was renting so I'm not in the market. He mumbled 'Oh', seemed to make a notation (hopefully taking me off the call list!) then hung up without another word.
