Number used by a scammer involved with hacking (or otherwise gaining access to) Pizza Express's online bookings system in September 2020. Scammers then spoofed PE's customer service number to obtain card details "for a deposit," then spoofed the credit card issuer's number to trick customers into approving payments. I contacted the actual bank after catching on to the scam, and while on the phone to them was bombarded with calls and texts from the scammer (who was still claiming to be from the bank himself). One of the WhatsApp messages came from this number - probably a burner phone, but I'm reporting it in case they're dumb enough to reuse it.

No such money is actually due and Amazon does not refund in this manner. It is an attempt to gain entry into your bank account. If you press the button then immediately ring your bank and try to stop your money disappearing.

This is a text service number. It is attempting to relay an audio translation of a text someone sent to your landline. It will ALWAYS tell you the originating number before asking you to press a number to listen to the message. It will cut out when an answer phone cuts in. Plenty of important recommendations about on the 'net what to do to avoid the scammers that may use this service. But it is the originating number that's the scammer number not this service number.
