Automated voice call to mobile phone from USA, or Canada, purporting to be from Amazon. Was played an automated message with an USA accent saying that my Amazon/Prime account was to be automatically debited & then said press 1. Did not press anything & call was abruptly terminated. Call lasted approximately 30 seconds. Immediately emailed Amazon to ensure that my Amazon/Prime account was secure & that no unauthorised debits had been, or would be, made. Received email reply from Amazon confirming that the call I received was a scam.
