recorded voice text message to my land line. Very fast and almost unintelligible. Purportedly reporting a payment had gone through and would be delivered 2 hours later.
Very worrying was my first reaction.,then I realised it was a Very similar message to one received on my mobile about a week ago, which I was told was a scam by the fraud team at my bank .

Landline phone rang and I picked it up to hear recorded message from Amazon Prime and to press no 2. Phone transferred to an Indian Man (who spoke so fast I was unable to make out what he was saying a lot of the time. Anyway, he advised that someone had cloned my account and to go and use my tablet or mobile phone as they were going to take out £79.99. I only took out Amazon Prime about 3 weeks ago and was on the 30 free day trial. So I told him that. He was pressurising me to log onto my email. Light bulb moment. Amazon only have my mobile phone number and not my landline. He was still jibbering on and I said "ohh I suppose you want my card number etc so you can stop the payment leaving my bank and catch the culprit - wait a minute I'll just run and get it" and put the phone down. It did nearly get me though so be careful.
