This person rang up saying he was from BT and that my Internet connection was not running smoothly and that they had reason to believe someone was trying to hack into my computer as my setting is not set to private but public. I told the gentleman that there was nothing wrong with the computer and told him in a not very polite way to go away and stop bothering me. I put the phone down and lo and behold after about 30 secs he rang again and repeated what he had originally said plus more about my internet provider being connected to BT. After a very firm NOT INTERESTED I hung up and so far he has not rung back.
