Avoid this call! He called saying he was a client of one of our managing directors (and that he was the Sales Director for Source International) and he was working on a project with our MD. It sounded fishy from the beginning as we don't have 'clients' per say. He wanted the MD's email but I said I will just have the MD call him back, so he changed his tact saying he wanted the MD's assistant's email. We are only 8 people in our office, so I was like there is no assistant to the MD. I should have hung up then but he was very pushy. I ended up giving him our generic reception email and my name. It all seems so unnecessary given that I had offered to have the MD call him back, so I am suspicious as to what he plans to do with the information! On googling Source International there appears to be very little information. My advice is hang up don't get drawn into his demands for names and email addresses!
