suspicious message sender claimed to be Lloyds Bank that you have successfully set out a standing order to pay, if you don/t recognize this go to this link (a link attached in the message) to remove your standing order. This is phishing scam operation. Just delete the message and don't open the attachment link.

Tried to convince me that my washing machine insurance had run out and needed renewing. He couldn't tell me what model or make it was or who I was insured with - just kept saying he was from the sales after-care service. The second I told him I knew it was a scam the line went dead.

My partner received a phone call from this number on 25th October 2020. Similar content although it was a real person calling. It was a man with an Indian accent who was extremely rude and threatening. Luckily it was on loudspeaker so I could hear everything. I took the phone and told the caller the HMRC would never allow their staff to speak to people this way and demanded his name so I could report him. He hung up.

01249196161 called my fixed line number at 08:01 hours on 02/11/2020 but did not leave a voicemail. This is a number that I do not recognise. This system suggests this is a fixed line number based in Chippenham, I am unaware of anyone either living or working in that area of the UK. I do not appreciate calls of this nature and especially when they are made at 08:01 hours in the morning. As you can see below, calling to discover who was annoying me at this early hour could be costly. Is this a phishing call or something more nasty?
