Called about a car accident which I didn't have,but rang off quickly

Displayed on my phone as Mozambique.
I don't know anyone over there. Not even sure how they would have my ex directory number so assume it was some sort of unsolicited robo caller.
I answered but had loud music on so thats all the caller probably heard.
Then blocked it as there is no information online about this number.
Hopefully someone will have better information.

Didn't recognise the number so didn't answer....found out it was from Laos in South East Asia !

Call is a recorded message claiming that taxed is owed to the HMRC, but no name/address or other details are given as to who the call is intended for and that if you don't press 1 to be connected to an advisor immediately, then "a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested" - clearly a phishing scam, as even if HMRC notified people about outstanding tax owed by pre-recorded telephone message (they don't), they certainly don't threaten arrest via recorded message and they usually tend to ask for who they want to speak to by name!

May even be some sort of scam.

Got a text message from this number to call them or go to website bpocollections DOT CO DOT UK
When I tried to visit the website my browser flagged it up as dangerous.
When I used advanced option to override message read,
bpo
respect
We apologise, but our site is currently down for maintenance.
My browser did say that their were two similar sites that were legit.

Dead call - No one answers then line hangs up. They keep calling my 0800 Business line. This is a nuisance number from The Isle of Man (Manx Telecom).

Recorded message from amazon saying that someone had made a purchase on my visa account and if it wasn't me ring 1.

The person calling had an Indian accent and claimed to be calling from the technical department of BT Openreach. He said that there was a problem with my router as it was causing issues with their server. I asked if he knew my name and address. He said he did but was not allowed to reveal personal details as he would get the sack. I told him that this was rubbish and that he was involved in a scam of some sort. He was very pushy and insistent - so I put the phone down.
