Just press 1, play along with them, give them wrong card and account numbers, oh sorry, I must have read that wrong, let me try again. After the 3rd attempt just tell them you are messing with them and wasting their time as you have nothing better to do during lockdown. If they got a better job they might have been paid for the time you wasted with them.

Call came in on my mobile. Recorded message saying it is from the HMRC stating that there has been a Tax Fraud case against me and that if I do not press 1 and get connected, that I will be arrested immediately. I immediately hung up. I suggest everyone who gets called to hang as well and block the number.

07794734946 two silent phone calls from mobiles followed by this one. Strong Indian accent said his name was Harry Brooks and calling from Sky Media which is linked to BT. Telling me I am going to lose my internet service within 24 hours. He wanted to take over my computer. I asked him for his location which is when he pulled the plug. I had a further silent call afterwards. the other numbers were 07792634182 / 07987424098 / 07793067990 / 07795572984. Persistent lot. Put the phone down on them.
