Claim to be calling from Amazon regarding Prime deliveries. They say unless you press 1 ‘Amazon’ will take £79.99 from your bank.

well spoken man called to say the warranty on my washing machine was about to expire and I could take out a insurance policy to cover my machine, as we do not have a washer under warranty I asked which macine he was referring to and he said the one my husband had purchased, I then asked for the make of the machine and he rhymed off about 4 different makes that hd said his company dealt with, I told him my machine was not any of yhose and he put yhe phone fown straight away

Some kind of survey company. When you ask them to repeat the name of the company they hang up. Similarly if you ask to be removed from their records they hang up.
